Lina Ahmed is a distinguished professional with a master's degree in medical engineering from Queen Mary University, London obtained in 2013. Having held diverse roles in one of Sudan's largest companies within the medical device industry, she brings a wealth of experience to the field. Recently earning an MBA in healthcare management from Wrexham Glyndwr University, Wales, UK in 2022, Lina has demonstrated a commitment to advancing her skills and knowledge.
In 2021, Lina joined Quantlase lab, taking the role of Business Development Manager. In this capacity, she actively collaborates with research institutes, hospitals, and universities, aiming to enhance the lab's research capabilities. Her responsibilities extend to obtaining regulatory approvals and certifications, including ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards. Lina is also instrumental in crafting tailored advertising strategies and marketing plans to boost the lab's brand visibility and stimulate the growth of its research facility.
Constantly vigilant of external opportunities, Lina is dedicated to assessing the landscape for potential expansion. She is a proactive participant in conferences, with a particular focus on water desalination, green energy and diverse laboratory specialties. This involvement enables her to establish collaborative partnerships and networks, contributing to the lab's overall success. Additionally, Lina plays a pivotal role in the formulation and execution of comprehensive strategies and market evaluations, fostering both domestic and international business expansion and profitability.
