What We Do

We are working on pioneering projects that leverage the power of high-power lasers to address critical global challenges. Our primary area of focus revolves around water desalination, utilizing femtosecond lasers. As water scarcity has become a matter of concern worldwide and in UAE, our desalination project aims to develop and deploy desalination methods, providing an efficient, sustainable, and environmentally friendly solution. Furthermore, we aim to work on attosecond laser pulses in the extreme ultraviolet (XUV) range. We intend to unlock the potential to observe and control ultrafast processes through the High-order Harmonic Generation (HHG) process. It is a unique tool to understand electron dynamics at a unique timescale, which will open new possibilities for advanced applications. In our lab, we are conducting extensive research and theoretical assessments to refine our concepts and optimize device designs. Our projects have already achieved significant milestones, including the successful installation of femtosecond lasers. With a strong emphasis on collaboration and intellectual property protection, we are committed to driving innovation and making meaningful contributions to a sustainable future through high-power laser technology.
